ALFONSO SOTELO NAMED CHEF de CUISINE

 West Town Tavern announces the promotion of Alfonso Sotelo-Flores to the position of Chef de Cuisine.

Chef Alfonso joined the Zinfandel kitchen in September of 1996 and quickly moved up the ranks to Sous Chef, a position he has held at West Town Tavern since it opened in 2002.

Executive chef and partner Susan Goss is proud to hand the day to day kitchen management to Alfonso who has been her right-hand man for so long. “Alfonso and I work so well together. I trust his instincts completely, and, as a kitchen leader, he is unmatched. His even temper, calm demeanor and rapport with the staff, both front and back of the house make him the perfect choice to lead the West Town Tavern kitchen into its second decade.”

Susan plans to still be very much involved with the menu at the Tavern and is looking forward to working more in the marketing and promotion of the restaurant.
